Geri-Care Honors 22 WWII Veterans

For the month of March, we celebrated the heroic achievements of 22 WWII veterans at the Van Rensselaer Manor. Friends and family of all of the veterans were in attendance, as well as, a live singing group who performed patriotic anthems.

This event took place on Friday, March 9th in Troy, New York at the Van Rensselaer Manor Nursing Home. This was Geri-Cares largest celebration to date and was attended by the Mayor Patrick Madden of Troy as well as Steve McLaughlin and Congressman Paul Tonko. News stations ABC News10 and CBS6 Albany were also in attendance to capture this ceremony.
